Long-time Flying Colors employee Katie Tobin, a Tacoma resident, saw the need for high-quality, professional painting services in her city. In 2017, Flying Colors Painting finally achieved its goal of opening its first branch in Pierce County. In 2023, Katie assumed ownership of the Tacoma branch, and thus, Flying Colors Painting Tacoma officially started.
